Chris Chapman joined Boenning & Scattergood’s Investment Banking Group in April of 2013. As Managing Director, Chris assists community banks with mergers, capital raising, and other strategic alternatives. He also has extensive experience with REITs and several capital-raising transactions in a variety of industries.
Chris has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Boenning & Scattergood, Chris was Senior Vice President at Paragon Capital Group/ParaCap Group, a boutique investment banking firm in Cleveland. He previously worked at full-service investment banks Stifel Nicolaus/Ryan Beck, where he advised financial institutions and real estate companies. Chris also has experience in sell-side equity research with KeyBanc Capital Markets and buy-side analysis with Mayfair International.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics with a Statistics concentration from Ohio Wesleyan University. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. Chris serves on Boenning & Scattergood’s Fairness Opinion Committee.
Chris holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, 79, 86, and 87 licenses.
